Primary Job Function:
The Private Wealth Consultant has the primary responsibility for executing a focused sales strategy within the given segmentation. The PWC will be responsible for positioning Thornburg's mutual funds, SMA products, private strategies, and any other future Thornburg products to financial advisors and professional buyers to include RIA's, Bank Trusts, OCIOs, Aggregators and home offices.
The PWC will work to increase sales and enhance relationships with financial advisors and professional buyers (Bank Trusts, OCIOs, Aggregators, home offices, etc.) within this segmentation. This individual will work closely with the TIM Investment team, Advisor Solutions consultants, and Strategic Relationships team to execute on sales goals and initiatives for the year.
Regional Responsibility:
This position will require the appropriate individual to be based within the Southeast region.
- Atlanta, Charlotte, Southern Florida - preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to develop and execute consultative sales strategies that will maximize market penetration and increase buyer loyalty across stated segmentation.Utilize technology and third-party databases to analyze data and identify strategic market opportunities.Maintain a respectful partnership with internal members, marketing, and others to ensure alignment around business strategy, capitalize on opportunities, and overcome specific challenges.Ensure collaboration across the organization, maximizing synergies within other channels of distribution.Maintain advisors in their assigned territory focusing on the service and growth of these long-term relationships.Work with the corresponding Advisor Solutions Investment Consultant to ensure proper coverage and success of all remaining Advisor Solutions advisors in the territory.Assume coverage for the national RIA Aggregator firms that are primarily sourcing their growth from traditional advisor solutions broker dealers.Job Benefits:

Bachelor's degree - required; MBA and/or professional designations - preferred .FINRA Series 7 & 66 (or equivalent of) - required .5+ years covering large financial advisors and professional buyers with proven track record.Analytical or research experience within Asset Management, Investment Consulting or Wealth Management Knowledgeable as to asset allocation theory, portfolio construction, investment manager due diligence and modern portfolio theory.Significant experience building long-term relationships.High degree of initiative results oriented, and entrepreneurial thinking.Ability to frequently travel within territory.
