We take an experience-centered approach that uses human insights to take ideas from vision to outcome, building end-to-end experience-led solutions that enable brands to transform their customer and employee experiences using design, marketing, and commerce capabilities.Roles & Responsibilities:Full Stack Developer with Angular experience in Java-based web development.Develop client-facing web applications using modern web technologies and solid backend APIs. Team members need to migrate existing Java/J2EE web applications to scalable web applications with Angular as the frontend framework and Spring Boot - REST API as the backend architecture.Build reusable components and libraries for handling the frontend piece of web applications.Work closely with UX, Design, and Product to understand and build web applications from scratch.Ability to solve problems/issues when they occur in the QA region, participate in scrum calls/grooming sessions/stand-ups, work with cross-workstream teams, work with the performance team to evaluate and resolve any performance-related issues, and work with the product support team to troubleshoot any production issues.Qualifications:Experience Required: 8+ years of experience in Java-based web application development with proficient knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, and Node JS.Technologies: Have worked on web application development using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Typescript.Experience with Angular 7 and above, developing components and consuming REST APIs.Thorough knowledge of unit testing Angular using Jasmine and Karma.Knowledge of consuming SOAP services using the Spring framework.Experience developing REST Services/APIs using Spring Boot with any relational/document database as backend.Good knowledge of unit testing REST APIs.Knowledge of tooling like Node JS, npm, ng cli, Git, Maven, and Gradle is needed.Good to have implemented Swagger UI in REST Services for interactive UI testing.Experience setting up pipelines in GitLab using tools like SONAR, Black Duck, etc., is an added advantage.Hands-on experience in Core Java, Spring, and Hibernate.Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the US without requiring employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.Applications will be accepted until 10/17/2024.The annual salary for this position is between $68,422 - $114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits:
