About the role
We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer to join our Dispute Engineering team and play a key role in helping our members recover funds by building seamless and intuitive experiences.
As the senior front-end engineer, you will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers and designers to create innovative solutions for our customer service agents and members. You will be responsible for leadership and mentorship and will be hands-on in the development lifecycle.
You will also have the opportunity to shape the roadmap for our internal applications and mobile app, driving impactful projects from concept to completion. Working closely with product managers, operations teams, and other engineering teams, you'll influence the design and functionality of mission-critical tools that empower both our team and our members.
The base salary offered for this role and level of experience will begin at $196,100 up to $245,100 USD. Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. Foster the community's creativity, innovation, and learning.To thrive in this role, you haveDeep knowledge and ability to navigate all aspects of front-end development, with 8+ years of active web and/or mobile development experience with React, React Native and TypescriptDemonstrated ability to be a team player as well as a top-level individual contributor in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with engineers, designers and product managersWork across the stack (React Native, Native iOS/Android, GraphQL API, CI/Build systems)Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling and web front end technologies and frameworksStrong communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationaleDesire to drive engineering culture within your immediate team, as well as within the larger organizationStrong leadership skills and the ability to work with cross-functional partners to define requirements, manage scope, and execute on software projectsProficiency in writing thorough and effective tests for your code, including unit tests and integration tests, along with experience in rolling out features through a gradual process, closely monitoring their impact and scaling up through a slow ramp to ensure stability and performance.A little about us
