Certification Details Certs: BCLS, CPI Job Details November start date Ratios: 1:6 Average Daily Census: 25 Shift: 12hr Nights 7p-7:30a, 36 hours accepted Call Requirement: None Float Requirement: EOW, float required to adult behavioral health, may float at "helping hands" as needed Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Locked unit, Involuntary patients accepted, Seclusion room, 15 minute safety checks/1:1's when appropriate, Unit is split into 2 halves: Psychiatric Unit and Behavioral Unit - patients are placed on either side depending on their level of cognitive ability and group participation SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Lift equipment is used - training provided, IV therapy - training provided, Voalte phones for easy communication during shift, Panic alarms installed on unit UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Epic SCRUBS: Any Job Requirements Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year - Geri psych AND MS. LTC or Rehab exp strongly preferred Traveler Experience: No first time travelers Certs: BCLS, CPI Skills: Geriatric psych inpatient UNIT EXPERIENCE, Foley Cath & wound care Must be comfortable with patients with lots of hands on needs - incontinence care, patients with mobility deficits (lift equipment), IV fluids, wound care, catheters etc., med psych or those who have experience in medical, IVF & Lift equip.
