Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)

Ultrasound Tech needed asapDAYS; M-F, 8-hr shiftsTo perform routine examinations in Ultrasound and; adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic and/or therapeutic results; prepare patients for examinationsThis requires independent judgment to adapt procedures to obtain specific diagnostic results under the direction of a radiologist.1+ years of experience in ultrasound/sonography.Must know all preps for each Radiology and Vascular / Cardiac U/S exams and procedures.Positive attitude and demonstrated willingness to assess and improve work environment.Ability to perform multiple tasks while coordinating patient flow and a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative.Associate's Degree in Ultrasound/Sonography or Radiologic TechnologyORCertificate of completion of Ultrasound/Sonography or Radiologic Technology programBLS (American Heart Assoc.)Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) through ARDMSRDMS Abdomen (AB) or RDMS Obstetrics/Gynecology (OB/GYN) through ARDMSAssociate's Degree (Community College, MBO)
