About The Position **Job Title:** MRI Technician **Job Specialty:** Radiology / Cardiology **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 5x8-Hour Evenings (15:00 - 23:30) **Guaranteed Hours:** May be called off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without compensation for canceled hours **Experience:** Minimum 2 years required, First-timers accepted **License:** Active license required, must be in Illinois 3 business days prior for fingerprinting **Certifications:** ARRT-MR preferred **Must-Have:** Cerner experience required, Level I trauma experience preferred **Job Description:** - Open to later start date - Work every 4th weekend or as needed - On-call required as needed - No floating within the scope to meet facility needs - Discuss scheduling requests with the manager - Locals accepted, no radius restrictions - Maximum of 5 days Restricted Time Off ideally - Special imaging procedure skills in CINE, Diffusion (non-brain), and other advanced techniques - Required skills in various MRI categories: - **Abdomen and Pelvis:** Abdomen, Abdominal MRA, Abdominal MRV, Female Pelvis, MRCP, Male Pelvis - **Cardiovascular:** MR Angio Lower Extremity with Bilateral Runoff - **Chest:** Chest imaging skills - **Head and Neck:** Brain, Cranial Nerves, Face/soft tissue neck, Head MRA, Head MRV, Neck MRV, Orbits - **Musculoskeletal:** Foot, Hand, Hip/Bony pelvis, Knee, Lower extremity long bones, Shoulder, Sternum, Temporomandibular joint with/without contrast, Upper extremity long bones - **Spine Cases:** Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum/coccyx, Spinal trauma, Thoracic, Thoracic MRA - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital, Magnet hospital with 562 staffed beds - Scrub Color: Any solid color scrubs - COVID-19 Vaccine: Not Required - Flu Vaccine: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only - Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays - Fingerprinting requirement for clinicians without a state license - All clinicians are required to complete non-billable orientation and virtual modules on the first day and annually 9364918EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ARMRIT BLS - AHA Core Competency Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel adventure begins here.
