Responsible for designing RF circuit boards to meet our customer's requirements (50%) and also be responsible for parts librarian tasks (50%). Candidate will be primarily responsible for adding parts to Expedition library, checking parts and symbols, placement, layout through fabrication, artwork creation using Lockheed Martin MFC design processes and IPC-2221 design Standards. Candidate may prepare and update PWB drawings and completed mechanical or electrical drawings of printed circuit computer board components and assemblies from notes, verbal instructions, and rough or detailed sketches for engineering or manufacturing purposes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active secret clearance
  • Bachelors degree in an engineering/technical discipline from an accredited college in a related discipline, or

equivalent experience/combined education.
  • Printed Wiring Board (PWB) Design with Siemens/Mentor Graphics Expedition.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of PWB layout design and fabrication.
  • Demonstrated experience for designing High Density, High Reliability, High Speed Surface Mount PWB's with some


Thru Hole, Flex, and Rigid-Flex design.
  • Demonstrated experience designing Blind/Buried Microvias with high ping count BGA's and other fine pitch SMT
devices
  • Demonstrated experience working with external vendors as well as internal manufacturing.
Desired Skills:
  • Advanced Hyperlynx PWB expertise is a plus
  • Allegro Cadence Experience is a plus
  • Ability to review PCB and Assembly Drawings complicate with Drafting Standards, Geometric Tolerancing, and


change management release packages.
  • Experience working in a High Mix low volume manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated effective written & verbal communication.
  • Ideal candidate would be a PWB board designer or a Parts librarian with experience in Siemens Expedition software
