This is a full-time day shift position in our Operating Room department. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgery in accordance with AORN standards.Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care to surgical patients before, during, and after surgeryMaintain an aseptic and safe environment in the Operating RoomAssist in the intra-operative care of the patient by performing nursing and technical duties as assignedMonitor patients' vital signs and other physiological parameters during surgeryCommunicate with patients and their families about the surgical procedure and postoperative careRequirements
ADN or higher degree in nursingActive and unencumbered Registered Nurse license1 year of experience in an operating room (OR) or surgical setting preferredACLS, PALS certification preferredBenefits
