Business Application Specialist I Sales

JOB PURPOSE:

Provides operational support for end users of Business Applications relating to Sales and Customer Relationship Management. Ensure effectiveness applications use though systematic end-user training and relevant documentation. Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to these systems as they arise.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Directly and indirectly supports all systems, configurations and business design initiatives relating to Sales (S-1440, Microsoft CRM, DocuSign and Cloud-based Telephony)
  • Consistently provide support, reinforcement, and training in systematic procedures and regional process to the user base
  • Use experience, judgment as well as pre-established procedures and instructions to identify, research and assist with timely resolution of issues and inquiries related to sales systems and integrations
  • Work closely with assigned divisional personnel, both in the field and in the office, to ensure efficient use of sales and CRM tools, and well as system integrations and process are performing smoothly and efficiently.

    40% Divisional travel required

  • Elevate questions, concerns, and divisional and systematical issues to IT Manager – Business Systems or Vice President of IT for review, discussion and help with resolution
  • Responsible for software setup, configuration, testing and deployment
  • Coordinate/conduct end user training, including the production and distribution of video and internet-based training materials
  • Expected to work and manage projects independently
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • Other duties as apparent or assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products
  • Experience with Residential Homebuilder sales tools is desirable
  • Ability to present ideas effectively, orally and in writing
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Ability to follow through with multiple projects, with minimal supervision, and a high level of accuracy

Education and Work Experience

  • College Degree in Information Systems or Business Management OR equivalent combination of education and/or work experience within the residential homebuilding industry
