JOB PURPOSE

The IT Support Specialist is responsible to maintain the enterprise computing environment by resolving the issues clients face when using computers and the network. The Specialist often troubleshoots remote as well as on-site computer software or hardware issues. They also perform the essential task to maintain the computer systems and enhance the desktop support and look into day-to-day operation system issues for better productivity.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITESAssist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage.Provide training to users and customers.Install and configure computer systems and applications within the organization.Install and update user software, maintain operational documentation and provide remote and on-site support.Activley update, maintain, and monitor all aspects of computer networks.Help users to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose hardware and application problems.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or related field.2+ year(s) of hands on experience with IT support.Strong understanding of Mircosoft Office 365.Effective communication skills and strong positive customer service ability.Experience in the transportation/logistic industry is a plus, but not required.OTHER DUTIES
