13 weeks assignment, 2 years’ experience current required inan 18 plus bed telemetry/progressive care unit required. Must be a team player,flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.
Must have successfully completed at least one13-week travel assignment. At alternate location-Will float to med/surg. Willfloat to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED tocare for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands.
CERTIFICATIONS : BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLSmust be completed through American Heart Association, American Health andSafety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler mustpass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not passthe BCA test will be dismissed.
SHIFTS :
12 hour day shift position
- Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.On call, weekends and holidays required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanentassigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or sameshifts. Ratios 1:4 will go 1:5/6 if needed based on acuity of patients.
ORIENTATION : 1ST week of the contract, not to exceed40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
SCRUBS : Required and NOT provided bythe facility. White scrub top. Scrub pants in sangria red, plum purple, huntergreen or black.
