This is a full-time position (hours are 7am-7pm, or 7pm-7am) and preferred candidates will have previous BH nursing experience. This position will work with patients seeking behavioral health treatment, including medical clearance, acute stabilization, and care pending inpatient placement. There is an opportunity for interested nurses to learn and develop Emergency Nursing skills. Schedule/Hours: 7am-7pm, or 7pm-7am Requires a minimum of one year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting. Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date. Additional Requirements: - Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. - BLS for Healthcare Provider certification through American Heart Association required - Proficient in English. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others - Proficient computer skills required.
