Job Details

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Trial Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position where you will be responsible for handling complex and high-profile cases, primarily in the areas of criminal defense, trafficking, abuse, children, and kidnapping. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse array of cases and make a significant impact in the lives of our clients. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of trial experience, a passion for justice, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of legal practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in all stages of criminal proceedings, from arraignment to trial, with a focus on complex and high-profile cases involving trafficking, abuse, children, and kidnapping.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and appeals.
  • Conduct extensive legal research, factual investigation, and analysis to develop case strategies.
  • Negotiate plea agreements, settlements, and other resolutions to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their rights and obligations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a trial attorney, with a focus on criminal defense, trafficking, abuse, children, and kidnapping cases.
  • Proven track record of success in the courtroom, with strong negotiation and litigation skills.
  • Excellent legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and manage a high caseload effectively.
