Our holistic model also extends assistance to shelter, energy, weatherization, HIV and AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.Explore our short clips, "WE are Yakima - WE are Family" and "YVFWC - And then we grew," for a glimpse into our dedication to our communities, health, and families.What We Offer$17.65-$21.62/hour DOE with the ability to go higher for highly experienced candidatesAdditional 4% pay for your bilingual skillsWork schedule is Monday - Friday only, 10:00 am - 7:00 pm.100% employer-paid health insurance including medical, dental, vision, Rx, 24/7 telemedicineProfit sharing & 403(b) retirement plan availableGenerous PTO, 8 paid holidays, and much more!As a Pharmacy Assistant, your tasks will include:Managing phone calls, patient data, prescriptions, and inventoryCoordinating prescription delivery and counselingMonitoring stock levels, processing orders, and checking expiration datesHandling billing, refills, and clinical responsibilities in compliance with regulationsQualifications:High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)Pharmacy Assistant state registration within 60 days of employmentBilingual (English/Spanish) preferred at level 9 for bilingual differential payCustomer-focused solid communication and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with medical terminologyProficient in administrative tasks like answering phones, filing, and scanningWorks well in a team and fast-paced environmentOrganized with attention to detailBasic computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft OfficePreferred knowledge of at least one pharmacy software systemDrug testing: This position requires testing for controlled substances before employment and will be subject to further testing throughout employment.Our mission celebrates diversity.
