Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a variety of residential construction projects, with some commercial projects as well. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully completed projects. This role requires a strong understanding of all stages of the construction process, from design and procurement to construction and completion.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Residential Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  1. Overseeing all stages of project life cycle management from initiation to completion.
  2. Developing and managing project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
  4. Ensuring all necessary permits and legal paperwork are obtained.
  5. Managing contracts and negotiations with vendors and subcontractors.
  6. Leading and managing teams to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  7. Identifying, analyzing, and responding to risks that might impact project objectives.
  8. Implementing effective communication strategies and acting as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders.
  9. Problem-solving and conflict resolution to address issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
  10. Ensuring all safety and compliance measures are met throughout the project.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in residential projects.
  3. Demonstrated experience in contract management, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
  4. Strong leadership skills with a record of leading and managing teams effectively.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  6. Proven experience in budgeting and financial management.
  7. Strong risk management skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  9. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
  10. PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
