Our company is actively seeking a dynamic and results-driven Permanent Medical Sales & Development Representative to join our team. This role is instrumental in driving the growth of our business in the engineering industry, with a strong focus on medical manufacturers and pharmaceutical markets. The successful candidate will utilize their deep understanding of engineering plastics and commercial applications to nurture relationships with OEMs and distributors, and to identify and develop new business opportunities. The position requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Drive sales growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities with medical manufacturers and pharmaceutical markets.
  2. Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEMs, ensuring their needs and expectations are met while promoting our range of engineering plastics.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic sales plans and initiatives to increase market share.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge of POM, COC, LCP, PPS, PBT to provide expert advice and solutions to customers.
  5. Maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, market trends, and developments.
  6. Establish and maintain distributor relationships, ensuring the effective communication of product information and updates.
  7. Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build brand awareness.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or a similar role within the engineering industry.
  3. Proven track record of successfully selling to medical manufacturers and pharmaceutical markets.
  4. Strong knowledge of engineering plastics, specifically POM, COC, LCP, PPS, PBT.
  5. Experience in managing relationships with OEMs and distributors.
  6. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, trade shows, and conferences.
  9. Solid understanding of commercial applications in the engineering industry.
  10. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to provide innovative solutions to customer needs.
  11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  12. Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
