We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Permanent Tax Senior to join our dynamic finance team. As a Tax Senior, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax returns, tax projections, and related reports for individual and business clients. You will play a crucial role in providing tax solutions and advising on tax-related issues. Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review complex income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
  • Analyze and interpret tax regulations and legislation to assist clients in understanding the impact on their financial situation.
  • Manage tax projections and quarterly tax estimates to ensure compliance with federal and state tax laws.
  • Conduct tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities and identify tax savings opportunities for clients.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of tax services.
  • Provide tax advisory services to clients, including strategic tax consulting and planning.
  • Assist with internal process improvements and implementation of tax software and technology to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current tax practices and changes in tax law.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and clear communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA license or working towards obtaining a CPA license.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or a similar environment.
  • Proficiency in preparing and reviewing income tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065) for individuals and businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in tax software and technology.
  • Strong commitment to professional and client service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
