Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation (travelers are required to pass a tele test), Intitate/titrate drips (Insulin, cardiac, Heparin, etc.), heart cath recovery (fem. & TR bands) AHA BLS AHA ACLS NIHSS Charge nurse experience preferred NG/PEG tubes, PIV insertion, Tikosyn doing, chest tubes preferred Recent Epic charting experience Other Details: First to float within skillset Patient Population: Complex Med/Surg/Tele patients. Post cardiac caths with interventions, CVA/TIA, ICD. Complex abdominal surgeries (open bellies/colons), oncology, cranis POD 2 Unit Information: 32 beds. Ratio: Days 1:4-5/6 (six is very rare); NOCs 1:6-7; CN takes assignment on all shifts. Unit Strengths: Welcoming and fun staff, proactive charge nurses, knowledgeable and helpful clerical support.
