**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Float Pool
**Job Duration:** 13 weeks
**Shift:** Night, 11.5 hours
**Guaranteed Hours:** Choice of 34.5 or 46 hours per week
**Experience:**- 2 years of experience in PICU in the last 3 years- Travel experience or local NYC experience- Level 1 trauma experience- Experience in a large academic setting (teaching hospital)
**License:** New York State RN License
**Certifications:**- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for critical units
**Must-Have:**- COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required prior to start date- Willingness to float to units appropriate for skillset- Skills checklist matching required skill set- Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience- 2 references from most recent assignment within skill set
**Job Description:**- Participate in voice advantage interview and nurse manager screening/interviews- Weekly start dates, requiring 4-6 weeks on average to complete compliance- Call requirement: None- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend- Float requirement: Yes, to areas within acuity- Uniform: Navy bottom with dark shoes or all white scrubs with white shoes
