**Job Description:**
- Provide patient care in a 24-bed Pediatric Cardiac ICU and a 12-bed overflow unit.- Serve patients with congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, and those undergoing heart transplants or using ventricular assist devices (VAD).- Handle patients ranging from neonates to young adults, with occasional adult congenital heart disease patients.- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of:- 1:1 for ICU status patients- 1:2 for stepped-down or overflow ICU patients- 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU patients in the overflow unit- Use critical judgment and provide skilled care to patient's conditions that may vary rapidly.- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address complex care requirements.- Maintain and ensure adherence to all relevant safety and privacy regulations.
