$110K-$130K/Yr.Specific offers within the listed pay ranges are determined by a variety of factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and business needs.Reporting to:

VP of Revenue OperationsRequirements:Oversee the Company’s collection process for its US customersDirect oversight of the Accounts Receivable/Collection and Revenue Cycle processLead a team to improve the financial position by collecting on past-due accountsThis role involves training representatives in credit/collection policies, developing performance metrics, and handling customer complaintsStreamlining the credit/collection functionEnsure that all policies and procedures are in compliance with state and federal lawsResponsibilities:Monitor and reduce DSO's for the Company’s US customersManage team of collection agents through budget/business plans with oversight responsibility to department objectivesPerform collections activities on delinquent accounts to include collections letters, email correspondence, phone callsKnowledge of and ability to manage any customers through foreclosures, bankruptcy proceedings, court petitions, etc.Continue the Company’s goal to migrate customers to ACH transactionsDevelop and improve upon time-saving quality tools for strengthening work performance enabling successful tracking of process improvement and achievement of goalsDemonstrate excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills while quickly progressing through various departments specializing in different financial areas to collect on accountsWork with business units to identify ways to improve customer service, identify and realize productivity improvements and reduce overall costsMust be organized and detail-oriented.Must be precise and attentive to their work in order to avoid errors and in preparing reports for managementEducational & Experience Requirements:At least 5 years in a Director of Collections roleExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft ExcelExperience in the telecommunications industry a plusCOVID-19 Policy:Cogent has adopted a mandatory vaccination and booster policy which requires all U.S. employees to be fully vaccinated with one booster against COVID-19.
