We are looking to hire an SAP ITD Engagement Director for the Global Consulting Practice. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at company clients. They will be required to coordinate the work of the company and client team members for one or more projects and will be accountable for the successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components for transformation projects. The role will be responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project. It will be expected that the candidate demonstrates end-to-end business process knowledge in Enterprise Warehouse Management processes.Responsibilities:The SAP ITD Consultant will work closely to ensure that the project(s) are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the Client’s satisfaction.Responsible for leading the design and implementation of the solution-delivery of project deliverables including blueprints, functional and technical specifications, system configuration, testing, training and go-live support.Guides and troubleshoots during the implementation.Responsible for defining and timely competition of required tasks with little or no assistance or oversight.Ability to act as a lead resource for others on the team.Able to set and follow standards.Facilitates getting the involvement of any other group or individual needed to solve a problem.Keeps the Project Manager informed.Suggests tools and processes needed to improve the way we operate.Reviews the team’s deliverables for adherence to standards and to ensure quality.Coordinate project timeline with her/his team(s) to ensure checkpoints and goals are met to the client’s satisfaction.Manage overall resource allocation and capacity planning for the project.Report project level status, metrics, issues and risks and manage overall completion and sign-off on project deliverables.Lead and manage small teams conducting transformational projects, implementing business process improvements, or implementing ERP systems for our clients.Conduct workshops (e.g. requirements gathering, solution architecting) with business managers. Work with client staff and end-users to determine the business and functional requirements for the system within an ERP solution.Create detailed systems documentation, test scripts, and presentations.Leverage business and technical expertise to address technology architecture, blueprinting, data analysis, business modeling, technical design, application development, integration, and enablement.Configure the SAP system to meet the business requirements.Provide leadership and guidance to other analysts and client personnel assigned to the projects.Collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.Qualifications:Minimum 10+ years of SAP hands-on experience in SAP MM/QM/PP.Knowledge of business process areas: Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics Processes, Quality Management using inspection plans/inspection lots, Warehouse Management including eWM and Classification/Batch Management.Understanding of cross module dependencies (PP/PI, QM, FI/CO, MM, WM, SD) and MM, QM, PP master data.At least 3 full cycle implementations of SAP.Nice to have experience with SAP S4/Hana and in particular hands-on experience with SAP Utilities.Experience in conducting requirements and design sessions with business process owners.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Good communication skills in English.Investigate and present new technology and solutions in the SAP product space to the core team and business.Participate in the delivery of multiple client engagements on time and within budget.Defines and re-engineers business systems or information technology processes by using appropriate methods and tools and partnering with process owners to understand requirements.Experience leading and advising in multiple large-scale Supply Chain transformations.Minimum of 10 years of functional expertise in Supply Chain and related SAP capabilities, including but not limited to: S4-Manufacturing and Quality and EWM/WM.Minimum of 10 years building trusted partnerships with clients/customers, providing guidance through complex functional and/or technical decisions.Prior consulting experience or similar advisory experience.Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years' work experience).
