We treat developers as our customers and believe in open dialog and continuous improvements to the product and ourselves.If you’re looking to be part of a team that is building a robust and stable environment for the developers – welcome to Creative Cloud.What you'll doBuild a foundation for the next generation of Adobe web applications, with specific focus on graphics and animation.Collaborate with other engineers across the organization to develop seamless developer experience for the Creative Cloud Web application platform.Develop high-performance, reliable, testable, well-documented code.Collaborate with engineers that work on Creative Cloud products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign, and XD.Grow with the support of your team, and help others on the team grow by providing thoughtful feedback and uplifting those around you.Strive to build an inclusive team supporting diverse opinions.Work closely with developers to understand their workflows and needs, and adapt or change quickly based on their feedback.What you need to succeedBachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.A minimum of seven years of experience.Deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.Strong optimization and debugging skills.An interest in and ability to learn new technologies.Ability to tackle problems in a sustainable way, always striving to improve process and learn.Proven results-oriented person - especially in the areas of writing high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code.Works well in a distributed team environment across multiple geographies; can develop strong working relationships and promote a positive, collaborative tone.Excellent verbal and written communication skills; can effectively articulate complex ideas and influence others through well-reasoned explanations.Based in San Jose (Bay Area), open to remote locations for the right candidate.Bonus QualificationsExperience with C++, TypeScript, JavaScript, Python.Experience with Monorepo.Knowledge of various Web Test Automation frameworks.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,000 -- $278,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
