Associate Attorney - Civil Defense - Remote OpportunityPosition OverviewWe are in search of an ambitious and skilled Associate Attorney with a focused background in Civil Defense Litigation. This permanent remote position presents an exceptional opportunity to engage in high-stakes cases and gain pivotal experience within the legal sector. You will join a dedicated team that prioritizes delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.
Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver legal representation to clients across various civil defense litigation matters, encompassing insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial disputes.Oversee a caseload of civil litigation matters from beginning to trial.Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to devise effective litigation strategies.Participate actively in depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitration proceedings.Communicate proficiently with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and team members.Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.Proactively seek to understand and address the needs, concerns, and priorities of attorneys, clients, and the firm.Fulfill the annual billable hours requirement of 1850.Required SkillsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active admission to the state bar and in good standing (CA or NV).At least 1 year of litigation experience, particularly in insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial law.Remarkable research and writing capabilities.Strong negotiation and communication skills.Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Career Growth OpportunitiesThis role provides significant potential for professional advancement and the opportunity to engage with challenging cases that will enhance your legal expertise and career trajectory.
