Catoosa, OklahomaJob Description:The Powder Coating Painter is responsible for surface preparation, mixing and applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on metal components.What youll be doing:Abrading surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, ensuring a specified finish.Shoveling or pouring abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot into machine hoppers as required.Selecting premixed paints or mixing pigment, oil, and thinning/drying substances to match specified colors.Prepping products before and after painting, including using power spray guns proficiently.
Must-Have Qualifications:1-year previous Industrial Powder Coating painting experience required, at least 6 months of previous experience.Ability to pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) and be fitted for and wear a respirator.Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physically active work.
