Application Developer

U.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Java Developer with design and development experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Performs and/or leads the technical design and development of complex application systems using existing and emerging technology platforms. May participate in some application architecture functions. Estimates and defines time tables and project tasks; analyzes and estimates cost and time. Leads change impact analysis. Creates and may review unit and test plans. Identifies opportunities to improve testing process. Performs and/or leads design, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of solution. Develops basic and detailed program specifications. Ensures that expected application performance levels are achieved. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, documents, maintains, and modifies computer programs of high complexity, significance, and risk. Leads technical staff and clients to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex technical problems. Identifies and manages interfaces, service levels, standards, and configurations. Conducts analysis of organizational needs for the development and implementation of application systems. Monitors operating efficiency of existing application systems. Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience At least 8 years? experience with developing and implementing applications. Required Experience 5 years of Java/J2EE application design and development experience 4 years of UI development experience with AngularJS 4 years UI Development experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript 5 years experience with jQuery, JSON, AJAX 5 years of experience integrating with Web Services experience (SOAP, REST) 2 years of experience creating API?s, Micro services, RESTFul Experience writing automated unit tests (JUnit/HttpUnit/Cactus) Preferred: Working knowledge of databases and SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) Liferay or other Java enterprise portal experience Required Skills : Knowledge of authorizing tools and human interface. Must be experienced with performance aspects of application development. Knowledge of DBMSs, development methodology, standards, design tools and specification representation. MCP internet or other certifications like Win 95/98/NT/Unix, Java Script, VB Script, PERL, XML, HTML, SQL Server, Oracle, Progress, MS Front Page, Cold Fusion, Visual Interdev, ActiveX and Java Applets, ISAPI/NSAPI or MS IIS.
