What You Will Do as a Middleware & Integration Engineering Manager:
The Manager, Middleware & Integration Engineering is responsible for designing and delivering the solutions that connect our applications and data. This role is accountable for setting the target architecture, selecting and implementing appropriate middleware technologies, and defining design patterns and standards for how data and applications will interact with each other. This leader will work collaboratively with their peers in application and infrastructure engineering, as well as stakeholders in security and operations to ensure they deliver solutions that are a match for the overall enterprise strategies.
How You Will Make a Difference:
Recommend the target architecture for our middleware solutions and servicesFacilitate the setting of standards and design patterns that will guide others in building modern, flexible, scalable integrations between their applications and dataResearch, then recommend the technology solutions needed to realize the target architectureDeliver middleware solutions to our operations team, providing engineering support when neededWork collaboratively with team members and stakeholders, including vendors, as a member of a high-performance teamSkills for Success:
Deep knowledge and expertise in the middleware topics including integration, orchestration, and mediationExperience with designing and implementing middleware solutions including API gateways, file transfer solutions, and connectorsCurrent knowledge of modern middleware solution architectures and industry trends5+ years of experience working in environments that include a mix of technologies and data sources including cloud-based, on-prem, and legacy systems (e.g. mainframes, AS400, AIX, etc...)Experience with Microsoft Azure-based solutions and services
