Christmas Driver
The Salvation Army USA Central Territory, Port Huron, Michigan, us, 48061
Position Summary:
The Christmas driver is responsible for delivery and pick up of bell ringers and kettles to the assigned locations in a timely manner. May also help with other seasonal driving responsibilities.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Deliver and pick-up bell ringers and kettles on an assigned route
* Maintain vehicle(s), being sure it is cleaned and prepared for next use
* Keep accurate maintenance and mileage logs, report any safety or maintenance needs for the vehicle
* Communicate any problems to supervisor
* Perform other duties as assigned
Education/Experience:
* High school diploma or GED (preferred), or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
* At least 18 years old
Computer Skills:
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365
* Basic computer knowledge
Certificates and Licenses:
* Must have and maintain a valid drivers' license with a chauffeur's endorsement and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle (MVR) check
* Complete Safe From Harm training, and keep current as needed
