Job Summary:

Efficiently transfer products from Airgas truck to customer tank through hose hook up. Conduct pre/post-operation checks following DOT and company guidelines. Load Microbulk tanks, fill customer-owned units, and uphold DOT, SAFECOR, and Airgas documentation. Maintain vehicle integrity, ensuring timely maintenance. Adhere to hazardous material handling regulations and promptly report issues. Utilize Airgas Tablets for streamlined tasks and uphold driving safety practices.

PLEASE CALL JAN AT 980-257-3217 ORTEXT "BOWLING GREEN" TO 980-257-3217Meet all physical standards required by regulations for drivers.Proficient in spoken and written English for effective communication, understanding traffic signs, responding to inquiries, and maintaining records.Strong verbal communication skills, self-motivated, goal-oriented, organized, detail-oriented, and possess a sense of urgency.Capable of analyzing customer situations and resolving issues.Positive team player adaptable to various personalities and backgrounds.Read and comprehend Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS).Able to drive hazardous cargo for up to 8 hours, including frequent bending.Willingness to work overtime when necessary.Comfortable working outdoors in different temperatures.Capable of performing occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, and fine motor activities.Ensure proper completion and balance of load manifests and vehicle documents before and after deliveries.Cultivate positive customer relationships through in-person communication, sharing information on costs, ordering, and delivery times.Monitor and address customer needs to maintain optimal hard goods and cylinder levels, minimizing emergency deliveries.Strictly adhere to safety rules, DOT, and OSHA regulations.Maintain appropriate driver's licenses and endorsements.Operate effectively while exposed to outdoor weather conditionsMaintain drug-free workplace standards.Assist customers in maintaining cylinder levels and engage in counter sales when needed.Support cylinder inspection, filling, inventory management, and showroom displays.Demonstrate a commitment to safety and compliance at all times.Are you a MATCH?

Minimum age: 21 years.Valid Class A or B CDL driver's license is mandatory.Successful completion of Airgas Background and Motor Vehicle Check.DOT Clearinghouse verification from previous employers is required.One year of experience driving a Class B commercial vehicle with like equipment or a diploma from an accredited truck driving school is required within the last five years.High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse individuals.Ability to work in a drug-free environment.
