Communication Planning and Execution:

Develop and maintain comprehensive communication plans and content calendars to ensure consistency and timely messaging.Collaborate with leaders and business units to brainstorm, strategize, and align content with company goals and culture.Plan, execute, and monitor internal communication campaigns from inception to completion.

Content Creation and Storytelling:

Craft compelling content, including feature stories, updates on company initiatives, and employee spotlights, to inspire and engage team members.Develop multi-channel internal communication campaigns across email, app notifications, print, and digital mediums.Tailor content to specific audiences, ensuring alignment with brand voice and strategic goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with stakeholders across departments to ensure communications reflect the needs of different business areas.Assist in creating marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), ensuring adherence to branding guidelines.

Campaign Monitoring:

Track, analyze, and optimize communication performance, particularly via the employee app, providing data-driven insights for improvement.Ensure seamless coordination across multiple channels (employee app, email, print) and build alignment with broader marketing efforts.

External Communication Support:

Support external marketing efforts where needed, including managing Google My Business pages, drafting social media content, and contributing to special projects.

Inventory Management:

Oversee the inventory of print materials and branded merchandise, ensuring timely production and distribution to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, the Marketing & Communications Specialist must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill and ability required.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.Two or more years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related role.

Technical Skills:

Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create content that connects with diverse audiences.Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) to create on-brand materials.Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) and online content marketing strategies.

Project Management:

Strong organizational skills to oversee multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Ability to develop and execute communication strategies, including content calendars, ensuring consistency and alignment with company goals.

Digital and Analytical Skills:

Experience with analyzing communication performance and using data to make informed recommendations for improvement.Knowledge of social media development and management strategies.
