Salary: $125,000 - $180,000 per year

Job Details

We are looking for an Environmental Lead/Client Service Manager CEQA/NEPA to join our team in Northern California!

You will be at the forefront of driving the growth and expansion of our Environmental Services group in Northern California. We are a nationally recognized ENR firm with a well-established Environmental practice. You will be part of a state-wide practice with opportunities for work and resource sharing across geographies working for clients like Disneyland, City of Los Angeles, Metropolitan Water District, Sacramento Regional Transit and Southern California Edison.

Our Northern California office boasts a strong presence throughout the region, delivering a suite of services including Construction Management, Engineering, Land Surveying, and Mapping to a diverse array of public sector clients in the transportation and water wastewater markets. This extensive reach provides a unique opportunity to leverage our strong client base to drive new business growth.

Responsibilities/Job Duties:

Business Development - 40%:

  • Collaborate with our other business leads to grow our environmental practice in Northern California.
  • Develop a growing and sustainable client base by using your strong network of industry professionals.
  • Manage preparation of large and small proposal efforts.
  • Actively participate and represent us in local and regional organizations.

Project Management - 60%:

  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams to prepare comprehensive, legally defensible CEQA/NEPA documents and technical reports, and ensure delivery of work products on schedule and budget.
  • Actively collaborate with clients and provide high level of client service to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Work with internal partners to cross sell our services.
  • Serve as Senior Project Manager providing oversight, document preparation and QA/QC.

Education/Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Land Development, Planning/Policy, or related field or comparable training is required.

Minimum of 12-15+ years of experience in preparing and leading CEQA/NEPA analyses that demonstrates successful client service and a reputation for high quality delivery.

A competitive salary! The expected range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 salary depending on experience.

Compensation may be adjusted for well qualified candidates.
