Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Details

This role is a key member of the Specialty Pharmacy Team. The Account Manager is responsible for generating quality revenue through qualified new patient starts and overseeing all aspects of account management training for new hires and current team members.

Essential Functions and Duties

  • Promote and sell specialty pharmacy services to referring entities, primarily in physician office settings.
  • Generate patient referrals to drive positive revenues for product offerings, particularly immune globulin and infliximab therapies.
  • Conduct sales presentations and meetings in physician offices.
  • Act as a liaison between healthcare providers and the specialty pharmacy to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
  • Maintain an up-to-date territory workbook.
  • Maintain and enhance existing business relationships while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Attend local, regional, and national events and tradeshows as assigned.
  • Collaborate with representatives in the territory as appropriate.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as federal and state regulations and laws.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years in the healthcare industry, including management, sales, clinic services, or customer service.
  • Must have knowledge in infusion / specialty pharma. Previous nursing experience a plus
  • Strong understanding of chronic health challenges such as Primary Immune Deficiency, Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy, and other disease states treated with immunoglobulin therapy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with proven ability to prioritize work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Sound decision-making abilities.
  • Experience interacting with referring physicians, nurses, case managers, hospitals, and discharge planners.
  • Ability to navigate complex referral situations involving case managers, insurers, and patients.
  • Highly customer-focused with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as needed.
  • Excellent judgment and professionalism at all times.
