Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

My client is a leading manufacturing company and is looking to add a Mechanical Design Engineer to their team.

Compensation Up To $110,000

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize AutoCAD and other CAD software to design and develop new products and improve existing ones.
2. Oversee all aspects of the product development process, including conceptualization, design, prototyping, testing, and production.
3. Coordinate and manage engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
4. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and sales, to ensure product designs meet customer needs and can be efficiently manufactured.
5. Develop and implement project schedules, risk management plans, and cost estimates.
6. Evaluate and enhance manufacturing processes and procedures for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
7. Perform detailed calculations to establish manufacturing and installation standards and specifications.
8. Inspect installations and observe operations to ensure compliance with design and equipment specifications and safety standards.
9. Use computer-assisted engineering (CAD) and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, product development, and project management.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD software, and other relevant engineering tools.
4. Demonstrated experience in product development, from conception to production.
