We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent to join our team in the construction industry. This exciting role is integral to our operations and will oversee the construction of multifamily residential projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, blueprint reading, and subcontractor management. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who wants to take their career to the next level in a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all stages of project life cycle including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, laborers and other onsite personnel.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Read and understand blueprints, specifications, and contract documents to ensure project is built according to plan.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Manage project schedules, identify potential issues or delays, and implement solutions.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, providing clear and concise communication to all stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
  • Resolve any job site conflicts in a professional and timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects from start to finish.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Strong ability to read and understand blueprints and construction documents.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proven leadership skills with a strong track record in managing teams.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
