Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,720 per week

Certification Details BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Unless provided beforehand, Traveler must pass a Dysrhythmia exam during first week of assignment; Travelers that do not pass the test will be dismissed. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit required. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Will float to med/surg. Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Job Requirements Active NM or compact license. 2 years experience current required in an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment. Schedule Information 12 hour day shift position. Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Unit Specific Information Will float to an 18 plus bed telemetry/neuro unit. Orientation: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Additional Details NO HOLIDAY RTO WILL BE APPROVED FOR TRAVELERS (updated 10.10.2024) Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
