Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Defense Litigation Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced attorney who is passionate about medical malpractice law and has a proven track record in defense litigation. The successful candidate will work on a variety of challenging and complex medical malpractice cases and will play a key role in shaping our defense strategies.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the Permanent Civil Defense Litigation Attorney position, the candidate must possess the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Medical Malpractice Defense Attorney or in a related role such as Associate Attorney, Defense Attorney, Insurance Defense Attorney, or Personal Injury Defense Attorney.
- Extensive experience in litigation, specifically civil litigation, general liability defense litigation, and personal injury defense litigation.
- Proven track record in managing a caseload effectively and meeting deadlines.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and experience in settlement negotiations.
- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex medical and legal information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
