Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year

We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and hands-on Sanitation Manager to join our thriving Manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our sanitation program, including the operation and maintenance of sanitation equipment, compliance with sanitation standards, and adherence to health and safety regulations. This is a key role that contributes significantly to the quality of our products and the safety of our employees.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage the sanitation program for the manufacturing facility to ensure compliance with all regulatory and company standards.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of all sanitation equipment, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
• Train and supervise sanitation staff, fostering a culture of safety, cleanliness, and excellence.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to address any sanitation-related issues promptly and effectively.
• Develop and maintain sanitation SOPs, training materials, and other related documentation.
• Continually assess and improve the sanitation program, identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Respond to and manage any sanitation emergencies that may arise, ensuring the safety of all employees and the integrity of our products.
• Coordinate with external agencies and auditors as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sanitation management role in the manufacturing industry, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of sanitation equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of sanitation standards and health and safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of training and developing staff.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff at all levels of the organization.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Certification in Sanitation Management or a related field is a plus.
