Salary: $170,000 - $200,000 per year

Are you a seasoned Litigation Attorney with a passion for insurance law? We are seeking a dynamic, highly skilled attorney with a strong background in insurance coverage litigation to join our team. This is a permanent role that offers the opportunity for you to showcase your expertise in property and liability insurance, CGL, professional liability, inland marine, and construction defect. The ideal candidate will have an excellent grasp of directors and officers liability, litigation strategy, class action, coverage disputes, and bad faith litigation. You will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, managing a diverse caseload and providing leadership to junior associates and paralegals.

Responsibilities:

As our Litigation Attorney, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and implementing litigation strategies for complex insurance coverage disputes.
• Conducting detailed legal research and drafting memoranda to support case development.
• Analyzing insurance policies and providing coverage advice to clients.
• Handling all aspects of litigation, including depositions, drafting motions, pleadings, court hearings, mediations, and pretrial procedures.
• Supervising and mentoring associates and paralegals, ensuring top-notch legal services.
• Representing clients in state and federal courts, demonstrating excellent oral advocacy skills.
• Working collaboratively with clients and other members of the legal team to resolve coverage issues.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Colorado Bar.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation.
• Proven experience with property insurance, liability insurance, CGL, professional liability, inland marine, construction defect, directors and officers liability.
• Proficiency in litigation strategy, class action, coverage disputes, and bad faith litigation.
• Experience in federal and state court proceedings.
• Exceptional legal research skills and experience drafting memoranda.
• Proven ability to analyze insurance policies and provide coverage advice.
• Experience in depositions, drafting motions, pleadings, court hearings, mediations, and pretrial procedures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience supervising associates and paralegals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
