**License:** Must have a valid state license in hand; specific locations require specific licenses.
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS
**Must-Have:**- Competence in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias- Experience in post-cardiac surgery care, excluding directly from the OR- Ability to assist with chest tube insertion and removal- Proficiency in the care of ventilated patients- Familiarity with pacer/temp pacer/transvenous pacer management
**Job Description:**- Work within a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) with an average daily census of 1-8 patients- Handle weekend shifts, working Friday to Sunday nights- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity- Complete four call shifts within a six-week schedule- Communicate effectively using SBAR/shift notes and manage medications using Pyxis- Chart using Cerner/med connect system- Wear navy blue scrubs during shifts- Participate in a 28-hour orientation, at 50% non-billable, and complete pre-start modules up to an average of 12 hours- Maintain compliance with vaccination requirements, including mandatory flu vaccination- Be prepared to come into contact with COVID-19 patients
