Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself and the organization.Essential Functions and Primary DutiesIn this leadership role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical tax, analytical, operational, management, and client service skills with real estate clients.Serve as client’s trusted advisor, demonstrating knowledge of industry trends, identifying client issues and conflicts; proactively communicate solution options to client and team.Manage compliance and consulting in areas of Section 1031 exchange, Section 754 step-up, Section 163(j) interest limitation, Section 1231 gain/loss calculations as well as an ability to analyze and implement certain aspects of partnership/LLC operating agreements with respect to tax applications.Demonstrate proficient technical skills for handling all client responsibilities, including knowledge of trends, industries, alternatives, etc.Understand the client’s organization, procedures, and internal policies.Understanding your clients’ goals and needs and servicing clients directly.Owning client relationships and work.Strategizing with Managing Directors regarding planning.Provide clients with recommendations and guidance on how to achieve their goals and assist in identifying opportunities for growth with clients.Researching tax and accounting issues and providing guidance to clients.Working closely with staff, and assisting senior management in mentoring, coaching, training, supervising, and evaluating staff.Foster a team environment; demonstrate support of management and decisions and build a positive culture.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.7 years experience in public accounting or related field.5 years supervisory experience.Must have and preserve required licenses.Ability to manage deadlines, work on multiple assignments and prioritize each assignment as necessary.Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally.Proficient use of applicable technology.Must be able to travel based on business needs.The annual salary target for this job in this market is $140,000 - $200,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.The compensation above is not representative of an employee’s total compensation.
