Our expert team of physicians and staff will represent a wide range of specialties, including NCI–designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, the number one eye hospital in the nation. UHealth at SoLé Mia will also deliver the latest in urologic treatments from the renowned Desai Sethi Urology Institute as well as top-notch care from UHealth’s nationally ranked neurology and neurosurgery programs.
UHealth/SoLé Mia has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Epic Senior Analyst, Resolute Hospital Billing with a hire date of December 2024.
The Epic Senior Analyst, Resolute Hospital Billing oversees and leads the Associate Epic Analysts and Epic Analysts on the team. The Epic Analyst 3 - Central (H) initiates the implementation, builds, and modifies of the application, and collaborates with key stakeholders, end-users, and application team members to optimize the application’s configuration, function, and access. The incumbent supports junior staff members in day-to-day operations and resolving application issues. Be part of the UHealth Difference.
Serves as a primary support contact for application end‐users.
Initiates the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the application.
Initiates all phases of testing and the documentation of workflow design.
Performs the analysis of information technology in clinical work processes and validates the impacts to the workflow.
Initiates the identification of issues and guides the work to resolve them.
Supports junior staff members in the evaluation and resolution of service tickets, identification and implementation of application changes, retrieval of requested data, and execution of day-to-day operations.
Collaborates with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
Works with stakeholders, the business community, and end users to ensure the application meets UHealth's business/clinical needs.
Participate in on-call rotations and support and attend and participate in, applicable committees.
Maintains regular communication with team members, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
Review. the status of projects and issues on an ongoing basis with leadership.
Remains knowledgeable about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
Department Specific Functions:
Strong understanding of the core functions and processes of the billing office
Understanding of revenue cycle management
Microsoft Office Suite: Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel
Problem Solving: Seeking, logically examining, and interpreting information from different sources to determine a problem's cause and developing a course of action to resolve the problem and to prevent its recurrence
Dependability: Ability and willingness to take ownership of work activities and ensure that they are completed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
Critical Thinking: Ability and willingness to see things in an open-minded way and examine an idea or concept from as many angles as possible
Stakeholder Management: Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees including senior leadership

CORE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
Epic certificate in Resolute Hospital Billing Administration including Single Billing Office is required and Resolute Hospital Billing Claims and Remittance Administration, or Resolute Hospital Billing Charging, or Resolute Hospital Billing Expected Reimbursement Contracts Administration is also required
Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in hospital revenue cycle management
3-5 years of Epic build experience
Previous operational, project management, and organizational skills
Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
Proficiency in computer software (i.e. Microsoft Office).
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
Ability to lead, motivate, develop and train others.
Any relevant education, certifications and/or work experience may be considered.
