Job DetailsResponsibilities:
As a Permanent Attorney specializing in Insurance Defense, you will:
- Manage and oversee a wide range of insurance defense claims, including transportation, premises liability, personal injury, product liability, employment disputes, business disputes, construction liability, and public entity defense.
- Develop and implement robust defense strategies, ensuring the most favorable outcomes for our clients.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to strengthen case strategies.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, presenting clear, compelling arguments.
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and addressing their queries and concerns.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in insurance law and related areas, ensuring our firm's services remain at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar. (TX)
- A minimum of 1+ years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on areas such as transportation, premises liability, personal injury, product liability, employment disputes, business disputes, construction liability, and public entity defense.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
- Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- The ability to manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing tasks to meet strict deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in the practice of law.
