Salary: $120,000 - $185,000 per year

A prestigious law firm in Miami is seeking a skilled and motivated Litigation Associate to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation, strong legal research and writing skills, and the ability to manage cases independently.

This position offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes cases, collaborate with senior attorneys, and participate in all aspects of the litigation process from initial pleadings through trial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis to develop case strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys in trial preparation, including drafting trial briefs, witness preparation, and exhibit organization.
• Manage case files and maintain clear communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel.
• Assist in developing legal arguments, conducting depositions, and negotiating settlements.
• Review, analyze, and summarize case documents and other evidence.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and in good standing.
• 2-5 years of experience in litigation, with a strong understanding of civil procedures.
• Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience with depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with federal and state court systems in Florida.
• Experience in personal injury, commercial, or insurance litigation.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
