Machine Operator Job Description:Accomplish the duties of the job utilizing safe work habits and maintaining a safe workplace.Assist operator during change overs.Complete paperwork and duties in a timely, organized, and accurate manner.Read and understand shop orders.Communicate with operator and shift lead.Perform and maintain clean lines in the manufacturing area and equipment.Operate forklifts when requiredReceive additional direction from operator/shift lead.Competency in plant operator positions.Keep a clean, safe work environment.Other duties as assigned.Machine Operator Job Requirements:
Experience with CNC machinery preferredMust have basic skills on use of computers: MS Office, Windows, SAP experience is a plusAbility to effectively work in a team environment with good communication skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentStrong organization skills and self-starter motivationAbility to train and support others on the team to build a proficient team across all shiftsPlastic extrusion experience is a plus, but previous experience is not requiredWillingness to work 12-hour shifts if needed
