Labor and Delivery Nurse

Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse Location: Glens Falls , NY Pay scale: Pay Package Weekly gross : $2392 W2: $27/hr Per Diem: $1421 Shift: Days Responsibilities: Provide specialized nursing care to pregnant women during labor, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs during labor. Assist with the delivery process, including coaching and providing emotional support to mothers. Administer medications and pain relief measures as prescribed. Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and positive birthing experience. Educate and support new mothers in postpartum care and newborn care. Requirements: 3-5 YEARS CURRENT EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE 2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience 2+ years Post Partum experience Must be able to care for laboring mothers Mother/Baby experience Epic Experience All certificates active & current Ability to read & interpret EFM Travel experience encouraged Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
