Falls preventionAssist to place patient’s extremities back into bed as neededRemove clutter or items within patient’s reachOffer assistance with toiletingAssist patient with ambulation (uses assistive devices as appropriate)Offer food and fluidsAssist with turning and repositioning while maintaining patient privacy and dignityRecognize when/how to call for helpQualifications:Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to communicate with patient population requiredAVADE certification required within 30 daysExperience working in a clinical environment preferredAmerican Heart Association BLS certification
