1st shift: 7AM-3:30PMControls equipment systems that process chemical substances into specified products. Supervises the production process and ensure efficiency of systems and equipment. Helps handle and run chemical raw materials; load raw materials into processing equipment; supervise the equipment performance including temperature and pressure; and discharge and package finished product at the end of the cycle.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperates batch processing equipment which includes blenders, storage tanks, pumps, bulk loading and packaging systems, forklifts, etc.Processes batches according to product manufacturing procedures and equipment standard operating procedures (SOP)Enters Batch Data into Company software for products and raw materialsDocuments batch data on batch sheets, and material recordsVerify raw material availability and inform Production planner of any discrepanciesBlend scheduled products according to the process order specifications and customer requirementsCarry out all packaging requirements as per schedule and customers' needsPrepare and inspect semi-bulk tanks prior to fillingLoad and unload all bulk trucks and trailers with inbound and outbound shipmentsProvide problem solving input for production issuesSample product Quality Control Lab approvalArrange for bulk loading and unloading timesLabel all packaged goods with the accurate labelsWrite near miss incidentsStage raw materials and transfer chemicals into vessels, trucks, totes, drums, etc.Inform Supervisor of equipment repairs needed and write maintenance request formsMaintain good housekeepingAssist with inventory countingAbides by all safety procedures and practices applicable to location and position; participates in appropriate safety training; demonstrates dedication to and support of EH&S principles and values; champions safety as vitalPerforms other duties assigned by management that fall within the generally encouraged scope of this positionQualificationsPrior experience in a Production/Chemical Manufacturing environmentProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteExperience with chemical movement and handling including bulk trucks and various packagesExperience with TDG, segregation of dangerous goods, and safe handling of chemicalsSolid understanding of various transportation methods including bulk trucksStrong dedication to safety and quality standardsStrong teammate and teamwork skillsMust be able to lift/move 55 poundsMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishSkills and Abilities / Core ProficienciesAll Company Core Proficiencies as well as the following job specific competencies:Bi-lingual strongly preferredAdaptability/FlexibilityCustomer FocusNegotiationPersuasiveCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $16.00 - $17.00
