Material Handler

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Material Handler to join our Manufacturing Team at our facility in High Point, North Carolina. In this role you will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. Pipe experience is required as you will be operating a lull.Benefits:Weekly PayMedical, Dental, & Vision Insurance401(k) with generous company matchFree Basic Life InsuranceShort & Long-Term DisabilitySchedule: 1st shift: 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-ThursdayLocation: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263Responsibilities:Receive, distribute, and store products as directed in designated, secure locationsPrepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent informationReview shipments for quality and accuracy; review accompanying documents for accuracyConfirm shipping details or special instructions; expedite shipments that affect the manufacturing process scheduleTransport and load materials, supplies, and finished goods (manually and/or using hand trucks and skids)When problems arise, resolve issues with contractors or vendorsValidate, approve, and forward invoices to accounting departmentCollect and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintain a safe and clean work environmentPerform other related duties as assignedEducation Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience operating a lull preferredForklift and crane operating experience preferredPrevious construction, manufacturing, or HVAC experience preferredJob Requirements/Special Skills:Excellent verbal communication skillsAbility to read blueprints preferredEfficient time management skillsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
