Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Telemetry Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 Year of Experience License: RN License Certifications: BLS and ACLS Must-Have: - Telemetry experience- Cardiac rhythm interpretation- Respiratory experience including advanced airways and oxygen management- Experience with cardiac drips (not titrated) Job Description: - Work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment on a 34-bed unit with private rooms.- Provide patient care with a typical ratio of 5:1.- Utilize GE Telemetry, Pyxis, and Welch Allen Vital Sign Monitors.- Maintain patient records using Meditech EMR.- Perform and assist with typical procedures including stress tests, heart catheterizations, CABG, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and chest tubes.- Float among Med Surg, Med Surg Telemetry, and ED holding areas as needed.- Follow dress code by wearing navy scrubs.- Participate in a rotation schedule that includes working every other weekend.Please note that this position does not require being on-call. Team players with additional ACLS/ALS skills are preferred.
