We have over three years of experience integrating CB CT imaging with almost all patients benefiting from advanced imaging. Over 1400 patients have been scanned. We also take great pride in our excellent, experienced support staff, including RVTs and an RVT with a VTS in dentistry.

The Veterinary Dental Clinic of NC is seeking a Veterinary Assistant to join our hospital to provide exceptional care to our patients! We are a dentistry referral hospital located in a beautiful 4,000 square-foot facility with all of the bells and whistles, including:
Cone beam CT scanner in a dedicated CT suiteSurgery suiteLarge open treatment area with two-story height ceilings, upfitted with dedicated outlets for O2, compressed air & scavenging for multiple dental tablesFully-equipped in-house lab with Idexx analyzers, centrifuge, microscope, etcIV pumps dedicated to each dental station and surgery suiteAnesthesia machines dedicated to each dental station and surgery suiteCRI pumpsMultiparameter monitors for each station and the surgery table (EtCO2, SpO2, BP, Temp, HR, RR, ECG)VentilatorsPiezotomeDedicated training space for wet labs, equipped with eleven stations, each with its own high speed handpiece.You will work alongside other skilled Vet Assistants and support our Registered Veterinary Technicians & DVMs in the daily flow of the hospital. Position Skills:
Assist DVMs and credentialed veterinary technicians with appointments, prepping patients for surgery, surgical assisting, and pro-actively set up for any procedures or diagnostic testsRestrain animals in a safe, efficient, and caring mannerObtain accurate vitals, obtain medical histories, and/or note any changes of patient's condition to DVMCollect and prepare laboratory samplesCare and maintenance of all medical equipment including laboratory machines, surgical packs, anesthesia machines, and any other tools that are essential to daily operationsHigh quality client communication on patient updates and questionsPosition Requirements:
